Recruitment Process in the Organizations

Recruitment is the significant process in any organization, because lot of success is going to depend upon your people their planning and execution's.

“Recruitment is the process of hiring right people at right time at the right place.”

Recruitment Plan-Before starting recruitment one need to identify the requirements in the organization on the bases of company’s goal and vision. When you are clear what is the requirement and why. Next step is create a job description of the positions.

Talent Search-Next step is to find out the sources you are going to use for hiring. Depending upon number of positions and budget you can start hiring with available sources and what are the actions need to be taken for fulfillment of the requirement. Following are the ways you can hire right candidates-

  • Job Post on portals
  • Job Fair
  • Job Portals
  • Reference from friends and colleague
  • Transfers
  • Social Media and groups- Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp
  • Headhunting

Screening & Shortlisting-Job posting should be like that it grab the attention of suitable candidates. with specific job posting you will create a pool of best talent. And Screening and shortlisting will save your lot of time from hiring the wrong one. Portals like Naukri and monster etc.

When you are done with finding a way of hiring, next step is managing applications and arranging interviews. Managing application will includes screening and shortlisting .Then conducting interviews for shortlisted candidates. There are several types of interview we will discuss about it in later post.

Interview- Shortlisting candidates with several round of interviews. Depend upon the organization how many rounds are needed to find a suitable candidates. Generally in any large size (more than 1000 ) organization’s candidate has to go through four to five rounds.

Several rounds of interview may have following rounds-

  1. Aptitude round
  2. Technical Round 1
  3. Technical round 2
  4. Concerned department round
  5. HR round

Evaluation & Employment Offer- Once all the rounds are cleared by the candidates HR will role out the offer letter including all the business rules and regulation along with remuneration details.
