Every great and successful team starts with collaboration of talented and motivated leader. To achieve bigger picture in a an organization its important to bring all the different people together and work towards one goal.

Teamwork also helps employees inbuilding healthy and good connection between the employees

Importance of Team work- “Together we achieve more”

as team you could discover yourself. Everyone has different strength and weakness, while working on team you can find your strength and learn to overcome your weakness. Once true self comes out when they work in a team.

team members can provide emotional support to their colleges because as team member they understand the stress and demand of work pressure. so sometimes team members can help and understand better than managers.

Six characteristic of successful team-

Positive Attitude- confidence is infectious, so if one person is positive about the goals and mission so it can effect the mindset of whole team.

Strong leadership- Only a good self motivated leader can motivate the other team members. keeping the level up all the time is a tedious task, ones need a leader who understand every expect of the business and focus on solutions.

Individual Talent- In every team all the members bring different skills and talent which could help each other to learn and grow more. That makes a bridge between team members and the business goal.

Team sense of belonging- while sharing their emotions, thoughts and decisions team members foster the sense of belonging with in team.

Feedback- There should be fair feedback for each members so that they can learn and grow.

Clear structure- Clear structure of teams helps the members to understand the team and find the solution and resolve the conflicts.

How to build a strong team- After understanding the importance of team and characteristics of successful team it is significant to understand how to build a strong team which could help to achieve the desired goals of the business-

Establish company culture- Your employees should know how they should behave and what approach they should opt to work. This is why it is important to know how is the company culture.

Clear roles and responsibilities- Everyone in the team should aware about their roles and responsibilities so that there won’t be any type of confusion with clarity it bring better outcome.

Respect for everyone- Despite of team members skills, talent everyone should be respected. When team members will see that their opinion matters they will contribute more. Openly share their obstacles which might hampering their work.

Communicate Very often- In order to keep your team members happy and productive its necessary to communicate with them on regular basis. it gives better understanding of their performances.

Encourage Team member- Time to time as a good leader you should keep encouraging your team members in so many different ways like building their team skills by organizing some team games and outings or with other activities.

Open to receive and give feedback- In a successful team team members should be provided constructive criticism when required. which would help them to improve their performaces. Also team leader should be ready to lisiten their points, feedback to resolve the issues.

Stages of team development- Forming — Storming- Norming-Performing — Adjourning

Every new team has to go with five stages of team development. Initially when all team members meet and till the expected desired result they will give it has to go with several stages and those stages are-

Forming- In this stage everyone meet with each other. Team leader introduce everyone and assign them their responsibilities. They come to know other team members skills.

Storming- In this stage everyone understand their work, start sharing their opinion and ideas. But in competition start putting their plan.

Norming- Everyone get settled, in this stage there is no competition and team member start sharing their ideas, opinion freely.

Performing- At this stage everyone have great trust on each other and start performing their best and even if issues rises they have their resolving strategies and accomplish the task with in deadlines.

Adjourning- Team members learns how to go ahead for future projects. how to perform and understand their strength very well.
