It became the responsibility of the organization to take care of their employees. Employees well being has become the priority, unlike other times. Though it was challenging for the HR professionals to redesigned their policies. Because there were numerous things that can’t be fall under the earlier designed policies.

2) Employees engagement- Keeping employees motivated and productive was another challenge employees were facing. Because during the lockdown period and staying at home people have to avoid social gatherings. Regular contact with employees was easy by using technology but conducting employee engagement activities was required another level of creative ideas to make employees engaged.

3)Workforce management- Managing people online, hiring, motivating, training, windup, all this without facing them on the front is again a tough task to do. Also fulfilling all the induction requirements for employees joining and induction training online is a new way of handling employees.

4) Communication- Bridging a gap between employees and management is the key responsibility of HR professionals during this period. What requires management to change in policies and communicating it to the employees in the same way without any conflict and also implementing the same.

5) Trust- Keeping your employee’s trust would be another great thing to be managed. Keep checking your employees day to day basis on the premises is a different thing. But talking to them online understanding their problem and maintaining a balance between new policies and the actual situations facing by employees is a different thing.

6) Employees Training- Train employees on the floor and behind the personal computer is a real challenge. Several new ways are being designed by management to train their employees. Which is not only effective but also improving employees’ productivity.

This is not enough people in HR who know well how they are managing things and working hard to keep their employees happy and satisfied. Management is looking forward and accepting new ways of running their company with several new norms. The best part is people are welcoming this new phase of life change.
